Wilma Kidd

Mrs. Wilma Faye Brooks Kidd, 78, of Mt. Sterling, formerly of Morehead, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at her home.
She was born on June 15, 1936 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Estill Brooks and Alta Turner Roe.
Mrs. Kidd was retired from Capital Plastics in Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was of the Church of God Faith and enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and raising roses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Kidd, who passed away in 1984, three brothers, Carl Roe, Glennis Brooks and James Roger "Butch Roe" Carpenter and one sister, Rita Horvath.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessica D. Kidd and Lisha R. Kidd both of Mt. Sterling, two brothers, Bob Pemberton of Ashland and David Roe of Mt. Sterling and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Binion officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.
Visitation is after 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Long, Dickie Blair, Jerry Ketcham, Matt McGuire and Mark Ketcham.
