Willard Livingood
February 4, 1927 — April 5, 2017
Willard V. Livingood, 90, of Lower Licking Road, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.
He was born on February 4, 1927 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of the late Irvin and Edna Roberts Livingood.
Willard was a member of the Salt Lick Church of God.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed working puzzles, Muskie fishing, yard work, Bluegrass festivals, dancing, Dr. Pepper and Hot Sauce.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Paul Livingood, Clayton Livingood, Ray Livingood, Herbert Livingood and Ralph Livingood and one sister, Junie Livingood.
Survivors include one brother, Malcolm Livingood (Olonia) of Morehead, two sisters, Ruth Livingood and Gladys Livingood both of Morehead, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Vernon Lambert officiating.
Burial will follow in the Slaty Point Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Kidd, Jim Livingood, Shane Livingood, Nick Sorrell, Tim Thompson and Ethan Hinz.
Visitation is after 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
