Vivian Ison
March 2, 1930 — August 16, 2008
Vivian Christian Ison, 78, of Beavercreek, Ohio formerly of Rowan County, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 in the Hartland of Kettering Nursing Home in Kettering, Ohio.
She was born on March 2, 1930 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Allen and Ruie Pigman Christian.
Ms. Ison was a homemaker, a Christian and she enjoyed cooking, flowers and making candy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Everett Clark.
Survivors include one daughter, Josette Sliwa of Bradenton, Florida, one brother, Jimmy Dyer of Dayton, Ohio, three sisters, Lillian Crisp and Marie Blundell both of Elliottville and Betty Rinker of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico and several nieces and nephews.
Private family funeral services will be conducted. Burial will be in the Abbott-Sturgill Cemetery at Haldeman.
Pallbearers will be family.
