Virginia Keller

Virginia Bowman Keller, 66, of Fairs Oaks, California formerly of Rowan County passed away Sunday, August 26, 2007 in the St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
She was born on November 11, 1940 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Herbert and Sarah Elizabeth Roberts Bowman.
Virginia was a technician at an optometric office. She was of the Church of God Faith, a member of the Eastern Star, was caring and kind, charitable, collected angels and enjoyed crafts, animals and birds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, six brothers, Ward Bowman, Farris Bowman, Lloyd Bowman, Billy Bowman, James Bowman and Winford Bowman and one sister, Audrey Burr.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon Keller of Fair Oaks, California, five sisters, Clara Conn and Lynne Morel both of Morehead, Lucille Stevens of Lowell, Indiana, Lee Wheeldon of Lafayette, Indiana and Louise Larsen of Muncie, Indiana and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 1, 2007 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Gayle Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowman Cemetery. Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Conn, John Wheeldon, Don Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Tommy Stevens and Carlos Bowman.
