Vickie Stone

Vickie Joy Dailey Stone, 62, of Morehead, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at St. Claire HealthCare.

She was born April 20, 1959 in Rowan County, Kentucky to the late Rev. Avery L. (Buster) Dailey and May Sue Thompson Dailey.

Vickie had worked as a baker at Artsy Tartsy Bakery.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Jarrett Stone and Zachary James Stone, two brothers, Michael Dailey and Timothy Dailey and one sister, Dee-Dee Lynn Howard.

She was affectionately known as Tori to her many nieces and nephews who were very special to her.

She was of the Church of God Faith and enjoyed flowers, crafts, sewing and spending time with her family.  She was a "Super Hero Grandparent"  and her favorite job was being a Mom. She also enjoyed Dirt Track Racing and was known as a "Race Mom".

Vickie was an animal lover and leaves behind her beloved dog Quincy.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas Stone, eight sons, Timothy Joseph (Katie) Thompson, Jason Stone, Justin Stone, Jordan (Lea Faske) Stone, Jalen Stone, Jonah Lane (Kasey Jasper) Stone, Jericho Stone and Jamison Stone, three daughters, Jenni (Gary) Butler, Julie-Anna (Eric Short) Stone and Jorjia Stone, one brother, Steve Dailey, one sister, Susan Kilgore, seven grandchildren, Kenadie Butler, Nicholas Butler, Avri Stone, J. P. Butler, Brody Stone, Savionne Davidson and Rory Dale Stone and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Lansford May officiating.

Burial will follow in the Thompson-Dailey Cemetery.

Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
