Vernon Jeffery Lewis

Vernon Jeffery Lewis, 51, of Christy Creek Road, Morehead, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at his home.

He was born on December 3, 1969 in Lexington, Kentucky, a son of the late Lacy Carl Lewis and Nancy Brenda Calton Lewis.

Jeff was a former mechanic.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bertha Fultz Lewis Griffin and Bernard Lewis and one sister, Mary Jane Lewis.

Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Salena Marie Lewis, one brother, Lacy Lewis, Jr. (Kelsey) of Concord, New Hampshire, two sisters, Brenda Kay Conn of Ohio and Ann Henderson (Terry) of Morehead and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 9, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Larry Hamm and Brother Jeff Fannin officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ditney Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation is after 12:00 Noon Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Skaggs, Terry Henderson, Daniel Conn, Daniel C. Conn, Mike Smedley, Lacy Lewis, Jr., Joe Barker, Linville Calton, Clyde Calton and Billy Calton.
