Velma Ruth Reese

Velma Ruth Wilson Reese, 80 of Morehead, Kentucky passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky.

She was born January 14, 1943 in Rowan County, Kentucky to the late Alfred and Ethel Slone Wilson.

Velma was retired from Chrysler Motor Company and enjoyed reading, caring for her dog Bella and visiting her sister Betty in Olive Hill.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Reese, her daughter Pamela Manier, two brothers, Herbert Wilson and Ernest Wilson. Also, three sisters, Genivieve Stigall, Madeline Romanek and Dot Coons.

Survivors include her sister Betty Offill of Olive Hill, Kentucky and her brother, Roger (Linda) Wilson of Haldeman, Kentucky. Also several other nieces, nephews and other relatives.

At her request no services will be conducted.
