Vaughnneita Cooper

Vaughnneita L. Cooper, 73, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 10:50PM on Tuesday at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born on July 16, 1934, in W. Liberty, OH, to the late Gilmore and Goldie Jane (Williams) Stanley. Her husband, Ora Samuel Cooper, preceded her in death in 1991.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her close friend, Claude Gainey; three brothers: David Eldridge Stanley, Morton Gilmore Stanley and Buster Stanley; and one sister, Mary Catherine Cummins.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Cincinnati, OH. She was also a Punch Press Operator for thirty years in Cincinnati.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, September 8, 2007 in the Purvis Cemetery. There is no local visitation. Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is caring for all arrangements.
