Tressie Ferguson Gamble

Tressie Ferguson Gamble, 81, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023 at St. Claire HealthCare.

She was born on April 6, 1941 in Morgan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Thurman and Louella Sparks Ferguson.

Tressie was retired from the Food Industry.

She was a member of the Church of God and she enjoyed flowers, cooking, reading, feeding birds, watching HGTV and spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Hendrickson, two brothers, James Ferguson and Paul Ferguson, three sisters, Essie Conley, Thelma Hutchinson and Monnie Messler and two grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, Timothy Gamble of Salt Lick, Kentucky, Terry Gamble (Darlene) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Richard Gamble of Clearfield, Kentucky, two daughters, Denise Gamble and Darlene Calton (Clyde) both of Morehead, one brother, Ollie Ferguson of Salt Lick, two sisters, Vernie Patrick of Morgan County, Kentucky and Lula Mae Hankins of Estill County, Kentucky, eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 7, 2023 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Alfrey Cemetery.

Visitation is after 12:00 Noon Friday at the funeral home.   

Pallbearers will be Linvil Wallace, Ben Wallace, Shelby Wallace, Tyler Gamble, Mike Mennard and Josh Holbrook.
