Talmadge Cline

MOREHEAD a�" Talmadge Adams Cline, 83, passed away of natural causes Thursday, November 1, 2007 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.

He was born on September 10, 1924 in Soldier, Kentucky, a son of the late George Thomas Cline and Eliza Mary ("Elsie Mae") Adams Cline.

Mr. Cline was a former produce manager for Safeway Grocery Stores and he was the owner of the Western Auto Store in Morehead for many years. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran having served during World War II. Mr. Cline was a member of the Morehead Christian Church, the Lions Club of Draper, Utah and was a dedicated volunteer Fireman for Draper. He was also a skilled carpenter and furniture maker and was an accomplished horticulturist who enjoyed the raising and cultivation of plants and flowers. Mr. Cline was an ardent patriot and an avid reader of American History. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George Irick Cline and Ray Murphy Cline.

Survivors include two sons, Steven Douglas Cline (Vivian) of Draper, Utah and George Millard Cline (Deann) of Portland, Oregon, one brother, Bill Robert Cline (Colleen) of Thompson's Station, Tennessee, seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

A service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 10, 2007 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Cline officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Visitation is after 10:30 AM Saturday.

Pallbearers are Talmadge Gold Cline (grandson), Walter Andrus Cline (grandson), Burgess Clay Cline (grandson), and Ivan Krow, Sr., (friend).

Honorary pallbearers are Mr. Cline's great grandsons; Jason TreVar Peterson, Tristan Gavaun Vlahos, Maverick Michael Fisher, Ethan Matthew Keller, Nathan Clay Cline, Tanner Talmadge Cline, Alexander Burgess Cline, and Carter Walter Cline.
