Sue Wright Stamper, Age 80 of Old Midland Trail in Salt Lick, Kentucky, passed away Saturday Morning, March 30, 2013 at her home after an extended illness.
She was born July 21, 1932 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late Ewell and Roxie Myers Wright.
Sue was a former employee of Battson's Drug Store, Begley's Drug Store and Peggy's Gift Shop.
She was of the Church of God faith, a former member of the Morehead Lions Club and enjoyed crocheting, yard sales, antiques and spending time with her Great-Grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. "Bobby" Stamper and a brother James Wheeler Wright.
Survivors include her daughter Sandy (Troy David) Lawson of Winchester, Kentucky. One Granddaughter Cassie (Steven) Stanley of Winchester and two very special Great-Grandsons, Jonah Robert Stanley and Gavin Reid Stanley both of Winchester.
Two sisters, Patsy Russell and Nancy (Earl) Norris both of Salt Lick.
Also, several loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Jones Cemetery in Midland with Dr. Jack Ellis officiating.
Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is from 12:00 to 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pall Bearers will be Randy Russell, Mark Norris, Buddy Richardson, Steven Stanley, Michael Little, Matthew Little and Troy David Lawson.
