Sue Easton Hogge, 75, of Ashland, Kentucky, formerly of Rowan County, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born on August 23, 1948, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Emerson and Beatrice Sparks Easton.
Sue was a retired nanny and enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, flowers, gardening, taking care of her yard, babysitting, attending the kids’ ballgames and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Myron Lewis Hogge, who passed away on January 3, 2021, and two brothers, Bill Easton and Bob Easton.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Hogge (Becky) of Maysville, Kentucky and Mark Hogge (Lisa) of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, two sisters, Betty June Marlow of Salt Lick, Kentucky and Kay Thacker (Rick) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, sister-in-law, Gail Easton of Salt Lick, five grandchildren, Brittany Boyd (Tiffany), Andy Hogge, Erica Balmer, Scott Hogge (Daniel) and Connor Flowers, one great-grandchild, Aspyn Boyd, her beloved dog, Grayson and several nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and the Touma and Criswell families who very special to her. Also, all the children she babysat for through the years.
Celebration of life service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 13, 2024, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead.
Visitation is after 12:00 Noon Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at a later date in the Hogge Cemetery at Cranston.
