Sheila Ann Wedding, 76, of Morehead, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018, at her home with her daughters by her side, following a brief illness.
She was born on December 6, 1941 in Indiana, a daughter of the late Thomas Alva Wedding and Olive May Hamilton Wedding.
Sheila retired from Sealmaster after 20+ years of service, and was an Associate Member of the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post #126 in Morehead.
She loved socializing with her many friends, singing karaoke, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Allie Daily and Brian Waddell, and one sister, Joan McDonald.
Survivors include one brother, Greg (Deborah) Wedding of Lexington, two daughters, Shaun (Rodney) Thornsberry of Catlettsburg and Christine (Michael) Yontz of Salinas, California, one great-granddaughter, Keeleigh Daily of Lexington, special friends, Amy and Hubie Wriston of Morehead, two nieces, one nephew and several cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 14, 2018 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Bill Bolen officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hamilton-Thomas Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bert Wriston, Mike Sewell, Woody Clark, Rick Edward, Kyle Prater, Bill Alvey and Joe Estep.
