Sharron Elaine Weaver

Sharron Elaine Weaver, 69, of Wallingford, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, at UK St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born on January 11, 1955, in Morehead to the late, Allen Stegall and Imogene Ingle Stegall.

As a Teacher's Aide in the Fleming County School System, Sharron made a profound impact on countless young lives, dedicated to nurturing their growth and learning. Her commitment to education was matched only by her passion for crafting and traveling, pursuits that allowed her to express her creativity and enrich her soul. However, the greatest joy in Sharron's life came from spending precious moments with her grandchildren, whom she adored deeply. Their laughter and the memories they created together were treasures she held close to her heart.

Sharron is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Donald "Gene" Weaver, who stood by her side throughout their journey together, one son, William "Billy" Weaver, and daughter, Donna Hendrix (Mark T), both of Flemingsburg. She was the proud grandmother of five grandchildren: Maleah Hendrix, Maisie Hendrix, Laton Weaver, Kyle Weaver, and Will Weaver, four brothers: Ray Stegall (Dorothy), Tony Stegall, Robert Stegall, and Chris Stegall (Jo), all of Morehead, as well as a sister, Anita Winkleman (Darrell) of Sandy Hook, Kentucky. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, August 25, 2024, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Sherman Sparks officiating.

Burial will follow at the Weaver Cemetery on Crain Creek Road in Wallingford, Kentucky. 

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Sunday. 

Pallbearers include, Billy Weaver, Ray Stegall, Tony Stegall, Robert Stegall, Chris Stegall, Steve Stegall and Mark T. Hendrix
