Shane Blundell

Shane Blundell, 50, of Morehead, Kentucky passed away Friday February 10, 2023, in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born January 23, 1973, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harvey Owen Blundell and Marie Cundiff Blundell.

Shane was a licensed master electrician. A graduate of Rowan County Senior High School. He also enjoyed playing softball, football, fishing, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his children.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include three children: Ethan Blundell and Shiane Blundell both of Morehead and Brooklynn Grace Williams of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Five brothers; Tony Blundell, Gary Blundell, Timmy Blundell, Allen (Kim) Blundell all of Ohio, and Troy Blundell of Morehead. Two sisters; Kim Kidd and Mary Sloan (Dale) both of Morehead. Several nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Tim Rhodes officiating.

Burial will follow in the Blundell Family Cemetery at Elliottville.

Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Cole Moore, Travis Bellamy, Raymond Bryant, Allen Blundell, Adam Blundell and Troy Blundell.
