Russell Roe

Russell Wayne Roe, 58, of Elliottville, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

He was born on April 6, 1962 in Hamilton, Ohio, a son of Barbara Reffett Roe and the late Edgar Roe.

Russell was a carpenter and a veteran having served in the United States Army.

He enjoyed fishing, working and spending time with his family and friends.

Russell was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Roe, who passed away in 1993.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Reffett Roe of Elliottville, two brothers, Rodney Reffett (Bonnie) of Mt. Sterling and Roger Roe (Rhonda) of Hamilton, Ohio, two sisters, Rhonda Deitriech and Robyn Duncan (Jimmy) both of Morehead and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 26, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Herbert D. Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow in the Roe Family Cemetery at Elliottville.

Visitation is after 12:00 Noon Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be John Deitriech, Joe Deitriech, James Deitriech, Jason Roe, Chris Reffett, Jamie Clemons, Ben Hall, Justin Roe and William Oneal.
