Mr. Roger Gene Oliver, Age 58 Of Carter County, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011 at his home.
He was born in Elliott County, Kentucky on December 13, 1952 to the late Charlie and Eulah Smith Oliver.
He enjoyed Nascar, watching his favorite television shows and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Garrett Oliver and Charles Oliver.
Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Oliver of Irvine, Texas and Rebecca Jean Miles of Pembroke, Georgia. Six brothers; James Oliver of Savannah, Georgia, Phillip Oliver, Robert Oliver and Rick Oliver all of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Billy Oliver of Vermillion, Ohio and John Oliver of Elliott County, Kentucky. Five sisters; Reva Thompson of Morehead, Kay Richardson of Wellington, Kentucky, Linda Justice of Grayson, Kentucky, Janie Wright of Wilmington, Ohio, Cassie Dailey of Morehead, Kentucky and a half sister, Delores Davis of Columbus, Ohio. Three Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Oliver Cemetery at Lost Hills with Bro. Rex Sagraves officiating.
Brothers will serve as Pall Bearers.
There is no visitation.
