Robert Gregory “Greg” Binion, 61, of Salt Lick passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.
He was born on November 29, 1955 in Lexington, Kentucky, a son of the late Bobby and Marjorie Gregory Binion.
Greg was a school bus driver for the Rowan County Schools.
He was a member of the Midland First Church of God and he enjoyed fishing, car shows, racing, mowing and taking care of his yard, “Going Out To Eat” and watching his grandchildren play sports.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Poston Binion, whom he married on March 26, 1977, two daughters, Jessica (Lonnie) Collins of Morehead and Ashlei Binion (Jeremy Gambill) of Salt Lick, one sister, Debbie (Bernie) Bates of Salvisa, Kentucky, five grandchildren, Austin Clark, Leah Collins, Olivia Collins, Joseph Collins and Adam Whitt, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Estill and Mada Poston of Salt Lick, one nephew, Ryan (Regina) Hullett of Nicholasville and one great-niece, Mackenzie Hullett of Lexington.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Midland First Church of God with Rev. Bush Stevenson and Rev. Rob Rice officiating.
Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery at Midland.
Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Friday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Collins, Jeremy Gambill, Jamie Mason, Cody Mason, Tim Stegall, Tanner Stegall, Joseph Collins and Adam Whitt and honorary pallbearers will be Austin Clark, Bernie Bates, Ryan Hullett and Rowan County Bus Garage Employees.
