Robert "Bob" Barker

Robert Lee (“Bob”) Barker, 79, of Morehead passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson.

He was born on May 30, 1940 in Haldeman, Kentucky, a son of the late Walter and Cosy Withrow Barker.

Mr. Barker was a retired bricklayer and a United States Army veteran.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to UK ballgames, when he was younger.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Troy Earl Barker and two sisters, Hazel Potts and Evelyn May.

Survivors include his son, Kevin Barker of Salt Lick, two brothers, John P. Barker of Worthington, Kentucky and Ernest Barker of Muncie, Indiana, three sisters, Mildred Patrick of Mason, Ohio, Wilma Lewis of Carlisle, Kentucky and Faye Hinton of Mansfield, Ohio and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial graveside services and burial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the New Sill Cemetery at Haldeman with Rev. Andy Lands officiating.

Full military rites will be conducted at the graveside by the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126.
