Mr. Robert Louis Alley, 96, of Morehead, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at St. Claire HealthCare.

He was born on December 1, 1924 in Bath County, Kentucky, a son of the late Pinkard and Verda Alley.

Robert had worked as a farmer and construction worker. He was a U. S. Army veteran.

He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and “gigging”. He was a member of the Salt Lick Christian Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Vivian Roberts and Lucille Harrison and one infant brother.

Survivors include his wife Leila Sue Baldridge Alley whom he wed on January 10, 1953. One son Greg (Dawn) Alley of Salt Lick, one daughter Robin Alley of Morehead. Two Grandchildren Robbie Alley and Brandon Alley. One Great Grandchild, Madeline Alley. Three sisters Ophelia Kitty Roberts of Indiana, Dorothy Messmaker of Indiana and Margaret Pfander of Arizona and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 4, 2021 at the Carey Hill Cemetery with Rev. Calvin Lindell and Rev. Bush Stevenson officiating.

Full military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126.

There is no visitation.

Contributions are suggested to St. Claire Hospice or the Salt Lick Christian Church.
