Rita Horvath
June 27, 1950 — February 22, 2014
Mrs. Rita D. Horvath, 63, of Walbridge, Ohio, formerly of Morehead, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014, surrounded by her family.
Rita was born in Morehead, Kentucky on June 27, 1950, a daughter of the late Russell and Alta Turner Roe.
On September 30, 1978, she married Louis Horvath.
Rita enjoyed traveling to visit family in Kentucky and also to Tennessee and Savannah, Georgia. Her hobbies included reading, shopping, and crafting. Her true passion was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Louis "Skip" Horvath; sons, Jerry (Michelle) Ketcham and Mark (Nicole) Ketcham; grandchildren, Brittany, Diana, Justin, Chelsey, Garrett, and Emaleigh; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Gage, Tristan, Trevor, Caleb, Aniecea, and Farrah; sister, Faye Kidd; and brothers, David Roe and Bob (Bobbi) Pemberton. Rita is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 28, 2014 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Myron Pete Hall officiating.
Entombment will follow in McBrayer Cemetery at Elliottville.
Visitation is from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
