Ricky Dean Burton, 60, of Morehead, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at his home.
He was born on June 8, 1960 in Morehead, Kentucky, a son of the late Norman Lee Burton, Sr. and Grace Roseanna Dudley Burton.
Ricky had worked at Vernon Hamilton Lumber Company and had also done logging with Rex Clark.
He enjoyed squirrel hunting, ginseng hunting, fishing and mowing his yard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Karen White (Charlie White) and four brothers, Carl Terry Burton, Roger Allen Burton, Owen Douglas Burton and Larry Walter Burton.
Survivors include two brothers, Norman Lee Burton, Jr. (Ruthie) of Plymouth, Ohio and Joseph Dale Burton of Olive Hill, two sisters, Ina Kay Russell (Chuck) of Shelby, Ohio and Connie Messer (Larry) of Morehead, aunt, Lossie Starks of Shelby, Ohio, uncle, Carlos Burton (Sue) of Olive Hill, special friend, Johnny Glover (Patty) of Morehead and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the Manning Chapel Cemetery in Carter County with Brother Larry Hamm and Brother Andy Lands officiating.
There is no visitation.
