Rickie Allen Harper, 67, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at his home after an extended illness.
He was born on August 31, 1951 in Carlisle, Kentucky, a son of Russell and Eva Howard Harper.
Mr. Harper was a retired roofer.
He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle and reading.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Faye Caudill Harper, one daughter, Dawn Marie (Paul) Day of Irvine, three step-children, David Blankenship of Goshen, Indiana, Michael Blankenship of Raleigh, North Carolina and Jaime Timmons of Bristol, Indiana, one brother, Gary Harper of Irvine, two sisters, Linda Martin of Elkhart, Indiana and Sue Geil of Irvine, four adopted brothers and sisters, three grandchildren, Cassidy Day, Dustin Day and Caitlyn Jewell, one great-grandson, Grayson Jewell and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Spike Skaggs officiating.
Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Joe Wallace, Don Law, Travis French, David Blankenship, Michael Geil and Elwood Caudill, Jr.
