Richard "Rick" Perry

Richard Wayne "Rick" Perry, 58 of Morehead, Kentucky passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare. He was born February 6, 1964, in Dearborn, Michigan to the late Roderick and Clela Pearl Wallace Perry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Roger Perry, and his mother-in-law, Ruth Fouch.

Rick was a member of the Family of God Baptist Church and was retired from Morehead State University where he was the lead greenskeeper. For many years he worked at the university's Sunnybrook Golf Course. He enjoyed woodwork, playing music, singing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife Debbie Fouch Perry, One daughter, Brandy Wagoner of Morehead. Two brothers, Larry Adrian (Aileen) Perry of West Liberty, Kentucky and Lyndon (Conie ) Perry of Morehead. Two granddaughters, Madalynn Grace Wagoner and Rylee Faith Wagoner.  Nieces, Melissa Robinson and husband Randy, Jennifer Wright and husband Aaron, Raychel Jones and husband Blake. Nephew, Michael Fouch and his wife Beth. Great nephews, Casey Robinson, Parker Fouch, Peyton Fouch and Emmitt Jones.  Great niece Audrey Wright. Father-in-law, Bob Fouch and brother-in-law Roger Fouch and his wife Debbie all of Morehead. Also, several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Wednesday, July 13, 2022, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Bobby Tackett and Pastor Willie Sturgill officiating.

Burial will follow in the White Cemetery on Christy Creek.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 11:00 am Wednesday.

Pall bearers will be Brandy Wagoner, Randy Robinson, Anthony Mays, Randy Blair, Tim Cornett, Rian Brown, Justin Brown, Danny Boyd and Pastor Bobby Tackett.
