Richard A. Frieszell, Age 79 of Miamisburg, Ohio formerly of Morehead, passed away Friday evening, December 14, 2012 in the Sycamore Hospital in Miamisburg after a brief illness.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 9, 1933 to the late Richard A. and Hazel Harpest Frieszell.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Gurney Frieszell.
Richard was a retired truckdriver for Duff Truck Lines and was a member of the Teamsters Local No. 957. He enjoyed fishing, card games, leatherwork, knife collecting, antiques and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Leona Watson Frieszell, four sons; David Frieszell of Moody, Texas, Duncan Frieszell of Miamisburg, Ohio, Sammy Frieszell of Dayton, Ohio and Gurney Frieszell of Kettering, Ohio. Two daughters Debbie VanHuss of Shreveport, Louisiana and Becky O'Malley of Miamisburg, Ohio.
12 Grandchildren and 21 Great-Grandchildren.
Also, many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services and burial will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in the Clearfield Cemetery with Pastor Allan Hutchinson officiating.
Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is after 12 Noon Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be David Frieszell, Duncan Frieszell, Sammy Frieszell, Gurney Frieszell, Mark Eldridge and Randy Eldridge and honorary pallbearers will be Joe Adamson, Junior Eldridge, Paul Watson and Wendell Watson.
Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is caring for all arrangements.
