Clearfield

Ray Collins, 87 of Clearfield passed away Monday at St. Claire HealthCare after an illness of several weeks. He was born in Clearfield, Kentucky on May 30, 1932 to the late Theodore and Lela Lane Collins.

Ray was a graduate of Morehead High School  and was retired from Sealmaster. He also had formerly worked at Lee Clay, and Pack's Inc. He was of the church of God faith and enjoyed trap shooting, taking care of his lawn and keeping his car in showroom condition.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Adkins Collins and one brother, Zane Edward Collins.

Survivors include one son, Alan Collins and his wife Mica of Morehead and one daughter, Paula Collins of Clearfield. Three grandchildren, Tiffany Collins, Tessa Collins and Trey Collins. One brother, Harold Collins of Clearfield, Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Friday in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Andy Lands officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bowen Chapel Cemetery in Carter County.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 11:00 am Friday.

Pall bearers will be Alan Collins, Trey Collins, Chris Adkins, Jacob Adkins, Randy Barker, Josh Barker, Chris Davis and Ronnie Cooley.
