Raney Eldridge Conley, 83, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.
She was born on May 20, 1924 in Logan, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Will and Nola Lyons Eldridge.
Mrs. Conley was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist and Church of God Faith. Mrs. Conley was an avid quilter and she enjoyed raising flowers and vegetable gardens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Conley who passed away on March 31, 1967, three daughters, Betty Jean Conley and twin infant daughters, Maxene Conley and Irene Conley, one brother, Jesse Eldridge and four sisters, Stella Caskey, Nella Eldridge, Sarah Jane Fannin and Fannie Perry.
Survivors include three sons, Eddie Conley and his wife, Lela of Lancaster, Kentucky, Gary Ray Conley and his wife Loretta of Panama City Beach, Florida and James Edward Conley and his wife, Shari of Crain Creek, four daughters, Madeline McKee and her husband, Terry of Muses Mill, Mary Pendland of Mt. Carmel, Cathy Wilson and her husband, Denny of Morehead and Brenda Conley of Morehead, two sisters, Wanda Faye Myers of Henderson, Nevada and Josephine Thompson and her husband, Clifton of Ashland, Ohio, ten grandchildren, Terry E. McKee, Jr., Sheila Pendland Fawns, Joshua McKee, Bithinny McKee, Kyle Wilson, Alex Pendland, Jennifer Conley Caudill, Christopher Conley, Jamie Conley and Jason Conley, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 23, 2008 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Max Molihan officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Run Cemetery at Wallingford. Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.
Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
