Randal Johnson

Randal William Johnson, 56, of New Concord, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 in the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio after suffering an apparent heart attack.
He was born in Kenton, Ohio on October 22, 1954, a son of Juanita Ruth Curtis Kiser and the late William Clayton Johnson.
Randal was an Air Force Veteran and was employed as an estimator for Fairfield Drywall. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially pulling them around in a little red wagon behind his tractor. He was an artist and enjoyed tinkering with his Ford tractor, gardening, woodworking and carving, reading, music and playing the guitar.
Survivors include his wife Kathy Lee Calvert Johnson, whom he married on October 14, 1989, his mother, Juanita Ruth Curtis Kiser of Hillsboro, Kentucky, one son, Steven Frederick (Amanda) Sposa of Utica, Ohio, four daughters, Juanita (Jamie) Benedict of Orlando, Florida, Susannah Leigh Sposa of New Concord, Ohio, Erin Rachel (Walter Lee) Martin of Lewistown, Ohio and Hannah Gabrielle Johnson of New Concord, Ohio, four brothers, Ricky Johnson of Las Vegas, Nevada, Roger Clayton Johnson of Brighton, Michigan, Bruce Johnson of Columbus, Ohio and Ashley Kiser of Lexington, Kentucky, three sisters, Susan Baker of Shipshewana, Indiana, Sharon Findlay of Durham, North Carolina and Libby Adkins of Lexington, Kentucky, six grandchildren, Joshua Benedict, Julia Benedict, Emma Sposa, Charles Sposa, Shealyn Sposa and Benjamin Sposa and his father and mother-in-law, George and Lucille Hamilton Calvert of Ashland, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Mary Lou Calvert Forman offering the eulogy and prayer.
Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.
Full military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126.
Visitation is from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Benedict, Fred Sposa, Walter Martin, Joshua Tilton, Gabriel Adkins and Brandon Lewis.
