Ralph Mitchell Mynhier, 81, of Midland, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center. He was born August 18, 1929 at Midland, Kentucky, a son of the late Walter and Elsie Perry Mynhier.

Mr. Mynhier was retired from Hobart Manufacturing in Mt. Sterling where he was a sheet metal repairman. He was of the Church of God Faith and enjoyed boating, baseball and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the U.A.W. and was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Highley Mynhier, four brothers,Jim Mynhier, Freddy Mynhier, Billy Mynhier and Phillip Mynhier. Six sisters, Irene Miller, Helen Bradley, Edith Flannery, Lucille Evans, Kitty Crady and Ella Mae Mynhier.

Survivors include two sons, Dewayne Mynhier and his wife, Elsa of Morehead and Darwin Mynhier of Salt Lick, one daughter, Rhonda Lowe and her husband, Rod of Morehead. Ten grandchildren, Kris Mynhier, Jarrod Mynhier, Amber Mynhier Ison, Seth Mynhier, John-Logan Mynhier, Brandis Lowe Carlson, Ashleigh Lowe Gasparac, Kristen Lowe Day, Kaelyn Mynhier and Jesse Mynhier.Tweleve great-grandchildren, Isaac Moore, Trinity (Little Mable) Moore, Tristan Mynhier, Amberleigh Mynhier, Delana Mynhier, Camryn Carlson, Jordyn Bella Carlson, Gavyn Gasparac, Garryt Gasparac, Jaeleigh Ison, Gage Mynhier and Emma Hale. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Midland First Church of God with Rev. David Starcher officiating.

Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery at Midland.

Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Kris Mynhier, Jarrod Mynhier, John-Logan Mynhier, Seth Mynhier, Dewayne Mynhier, Darwin Mynhier, Rod Lowe and Parker Gasparac. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Lowe, Brent Day, Jesse Mynhier, Brian Carlson, Josh Ison and Gary Fanning.
