Quinton Jones
January 21, 1942 — April 11, 2007
Quinton K. Jones, 65, of Paris, Kentucky formerly of Rowan County, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the residence of his daughter in Charleston, West Virginia.
He was born on January 21, 1942 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of the late Walter and Rosa McDaniel Jones.
Mr. Jones was a retired welder. He enjoyed fishing, blue grass music and playing the banjo.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, John Paul and an infant sister, Hildreth.
Survivors include one son, James Jones and his wife, Shonnie of Lexington, one daughter, Lisa Jones Dickson and her husband, Fred of Charleston, West Virginia, three sisters, Thelma Jones of Cynthiana, Clara Moore of Willard, Ohio and Merrill Lowe of Morehead, three grandchildren, Samuel, Patience and Maggie and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 14, 2007 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Pennington officiating. Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Friday.
