Phyllis Henson

Phyllis Caudill Henson, 79, of Miami, Florida, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020.

She was born in Rowan County, Kentucky on November 14, 1940, to the late Arvle and R. Delia McDaniel Caudill.

Phyllis graduated from Morehead High School in 1958.

Phyllis retired from the State of Kentucky after 46 years.  She enjoyed reading, family time, and spending time with her grandson.  When she lived in Morehead, Phyllis attended the Elliottville Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Earl Allen Henson, a brother, J. Norwood Caudill, and a sister Mary Jeanetta Caudill.

Survivors include her son, Philip Allen Henson of Miami, Florida, her grandson, Austin Grant Henson, her daughter-in-law, Michelle Henson, her sister-in-law, Betty Caudill and her nieces and nephews, Jeanetta Caudill Kathman, Jessica Caudill Copher, Brad Stacy, Jared Stacy, and Harper Grace Copher.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 30, 2020 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Willie Sturgill officiating.

Burial will follow in the Caudill Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brad Stacy, Jared Stacy, Eb Copher, Gary Kathman, Gary D. Lewis, and Gary T. Lewis.
