Paul Fredrick Prince, 72, of Morehead, passed away at 4:30 A.M. Thursday, February 1, 2018 at his home in Pine Hills.
He was born on September 1, 1945 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of the late Arthur and Dixie Crum Prince.
Mr. Prince was an independent distributor for Little Debbie and he was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam Era.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and attending all of the basketball games when his daughters played.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Waldo Prince and Jerry Michael Prince and two sisters, Betty Johnson and an infant sister.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Marie Williams Prince, seven daughters, Amy Prince Turner (Christopher) of Abilene, Texas, Elizabeth Prince (Enrique) of Liberty Township, Ohio, Rebecca Prince Swift (Michael) of Ft. Myers, Florida, Lisa Prince Russell (Todd) of Morehead, Angela Prince of Morehead, Amanda Prince of Cape Coral, Florida and Paula Prince of Ft. Myers, Florida, twelve grandchildren, Candace Scalzitti (Matthew), Alexandria Hatfield (Eric), David Irwin, Sarah Irwin, Jacob Russell, Aubrynn Swift, Kimber Swift, Adrianna Doro, Deacon Swift, Austin Doro, Elena Trabanino and Adalynn Prince, four great-grandchildren, Skyler Hatfield, Kaelem Muhammed Aziz, Sydney Hatfield and Giovanna Scalzitti, one brother, Tom Prince (Beatrice) of Ypsilanti, Michigan, seven sisters, Clara Ramsey of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Grace Gulley (Carl) of Muncie, Indiana, Geraldine Read of Anderson, Indiana, Essie Carroll of Morehead, Beulah Crossland of Muncie, Indiana, Marlene Pankotai (Bob) of Morehead and Berniece Mabry (Clyde) of Morehead and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 3, 2018 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Christopher Turner officiating.
Full military honors will be conducted at the funeral home by the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126.
Visitation is after 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family invites you to continue celebrating Paul's life by gathering with them for a reception at 5:00 P.M. in the Eagle room of the Morehead Conference Center, 111 East First Street in Morehead.
