Paul Jennings

Mr. Paul P. Jennings, Age 67 of Big Woods Road, Morehead passed away Friday morning, April 25, 2008 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead after an illness of several weeks.

He was born May 17, 1940 in Johnson County, Kentucky to the late Press and Maude Bell Jennings.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers, Press Jennings, Jr., Douglas Jennings, Ronnie Jennings, Robert Jennings and Roger Jennings.

Paul was a former Coalminer, Insurance Agent and Milk Truck Driver. He enjoyed doing all kinds of work, especially repairing and fixing things.

He was of the Free Will Baptist faith and attended the Sharkey Free Will Baptist Church. His favorite things to do were read his Bible and share his testimony for the Lord.

Survivors include his wife Margaret (Mickey) Glover Jennings, One son, Paul Jennings, Jr. of Morehead, Two daughters, Lisa Ann Christian of Van Lear, Kentucky and Kimberly Jo Martin and her husband James of Staffordsville, Kentucky. A step-son Clinton Hamm and his wife Toni of Cincinnati, Ohio. One brother, Charles Jennings of Baron Springs, Virginia. Two sisters; Barbara Travis of Fairborn, Ohio and Shelby McLaughlin of Lebanon, Ohio. Two Grandchildren; Derek Christian and Austin Martin and three step-grandchildren; Jared, Joshua and Jessie. Also several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.

Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is after 5:00 P.M. Monday.

Serving as Pall Bearers will be, Clinton Hamm, Bob Adams, Rodney Gregory, Roger Stigall, Rufus Williams and Herbert Hyatt.

Honorary Bearers will be Clayton Carroll, Merle Jones, Charles Jennings, Chuck Jennings and Dewayne Gregory.
