Mrs. Nola Stamper Caudill, Age 98 of Anniston, Alabama formerly of Morehead, passed away Sunday morning, December 23, 2012 in the Stringfellow Memorial Hospital in Anniston, Alabama after an extended illness.
She was born September 28, 1914 in Morehead, Kentucky to the late Samuel and Martha Sublett Stamper.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Winfred C. Caudill on June 3, 1974; one daughter, Beverly June Locklier on April 18, 1993 and three sisters and four brothers.
Nola was a 60 year member of the Morehead First Church of God, the St. Claire Regional Medical Center Auxiliary; She was a volunteer with 27 years service to the Rowan County Board of Education and volunteer service for the Red Cross Bloodmobile and the RSVP.
Surviving are four grandsons and their wives, Brant and Kay Locklier of Anniston, Alabama, Tom and Selena Locklier of Destin, Florida, Jim and Lisa Locklier of Andalusia, Alabama and Dale and Leigh Locklier of Auburn, Alabama.
Five Great Grandchildren, Adam Locklier, Kara Locklier Bowen (Aron Bowen), Julia Locklier Anna Locklier and Elizabeth Locklier and one great-great-grandchild, Abel Bowen.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, with one special niece, Phyllis Roberts of Morehead.
Funeral services will be conducted 12 Noon Thursday in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Pastor Allan Hutchinson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is after 11:00 AM Thursday.
Serving as Pall Bearers will be Bill Templeman, Jack Templeman, Jim Roberts, David Roberts, Paul Anderson, Anthony Anderson, Chuck Davis, Mark Lambert, Dwayne Anderson and Joe Anderson.
