Mr. Noah David Roe, 89, of Elliottville, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his home.
He was born on August 12, 1927 in Whitman, West Virginia, a son of the late Charles and Lula Skaggs Roe.
Mr. Roe was retired from Ford Motor Company and he was also a carpenter and farmer.
He was a member of the Elliottville Baptist Church and he enjoyed raising a garden, farming and taking care of the farm, watching U.K. basketball games and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Glen Roe, Carl D. Roe, Edgar Roe and Charles Roe and one sister, Murrel Perkins.
Survivors include his wife, Hildreth Weddington Roe, whom he married on November 20, 1970, one son, William David (Sheila) Roe of Lewis County, two daughters, Patricia Chromcik of Hemet, California and Mary (Roy) Slone of Elliottville, three brothers, Robert E. Roe of Elliottville, Franklin Roe of Ypsilanti, Michigan and Garland Roe of Lexington, two sisters, Doreen Eldridge of Hamilton, Ohio and Marie Reffett of Union City, Indiana, six grandchildren, Amanda (Phillip) Bradley, Kaitlyn Slone, Emily Slone, Wyatt Slone, Melissa Potenzo and Serafina Potenzo, three great-grandchildren, Harley Neff, Raegan Neff and Loreli Tito, one great-great-grandson, Jacob Scott Buss and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating.
Burial will follow in the Roe Family Cemetery.
Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Steve Gillum, Clay Gillum, David Gillum, Jerry Perkins, Phillip Bradley and Gary Roe.
