Nicholas Eugene Johnson

Nicholas Eugene Johnson, 39,  a current resident of Ashland, Kentucky,  left his earthly home on Monday, March 13, 2023.

He was born April 11, 1983 in Morehead, Kentucky, a son of David Johnson and Judy Wagoner Johnson.

Nick was a member of the Sharkey Baptist Church. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and a supporter of Suicide Awareness. He enjoyed working with his video camera creating videos and was an avid Star Wars fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was such a positive influence on many lives and had a relationship with his mother that was and will forever be a bond. 

Nick was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Shane.

Survivors include his parents, David and Judy Johnson of Hillsboro, Kentucky; One brother, Will Johnson (Crystal) and their children, Megan and Liam, of Hillsboro; two sisters, Angie Johnson (Raven) of Flemingsburg, Kentucky and Tara Johnson (Leon) and their child Amia of Flatwoods, Kentucky; along with several other family members and many friends.

In addition to his immediate family, he leaves behind all his most giving and caring beautiful family of Caring Moore Homes in Ashland, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the Sharkey Baptist Church, 2555 Sharkey Road, Morehead, Kentucky with Pastor Harley Sexton Jr. and Pastor Elijah Sexton officiating.

Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church.

Casket bearers will be Will Johnson, Tara Johnson, Angie Johnson, Marty Johnson, Josh Davis, John Lambertson, and Roger Davis.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Caring Moore Homes LLC of Ashland, Kentucky in Memory of Nicholas.
