Myron Hogge

Myron Lewis Hogge, 82 of Ashland, Kentucky passed away Sunday morning January 3, 2021 at his home after a brief illness. He was born in Rowan County, Kentucky on June 16, 1938 to the late Grover and Ollie Lewis Hogge.

Myron was retired from Lowe's in Russell, Kentucky where he worked in electrical sales and he enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Elsie Littleton and his brothers; Jimmy Hogge, Elson Hogge, Ernest Hogge, Irvin Hogge and Fred Hogge. Also an infant sister.

Survivors include his wife Sue Easton Hogge whom he married on April 13, 1968. Two sons; Mike Hogge and his wife Becky of Morehead, Kentucky and Mark Hogge and his wife Lisa of Catlettsburg, Kentucky. One sister, Guyneth Lowe of Lancaster, South Carolina. Two grandchildren; Andy Hogge and Scott Hogge. Two step grandchildren; Brittany (Tiffany) Boyd and Erica Balmer.  Two sisters-in-law; Vivian Hogge and Ermine Hogge. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Myron Logan officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hogge Cemetery at Cranston.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead will be from 6 pm to 8 pm Tuesday.

Pall bearers will be Scott Hogge,  Andy Hogge, Chase Thacker, Cody Thacker, Troy Hogge, Matt Sparks, Anthony Marshall and Caden Criswell.
