Mondell Razor

Mrs. Mondell Salyer Razor, 87 of West Liberty, Kentucky formerly of Morehead passed away Friday. December 14, 2018 in the West Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.

She was born in Morgan County, Kentucky  November 17, 1931 to the late Cooper and Nettie Hopkin Salyer.

Mondell was a retired hairdresser having owned and operated Mondell's Hair Shop near Dayton, Ohio for many years. She was a member of the Moore's Ferry Christian Church in Salt Lick and enjoyed raising a garden.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband E. C. "Pug" Razor, an infant son Michael Poe and a brother Samuel Salyer.

Survivors include one sister, Shirley Hembree of West Liberty and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead.

Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery in Morgan County.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 5:00 P.M. Monday.

Serving as pall bearers will be Travis Conley, Dustin Adkins, Justin Hembree, Tipton Hembree, Brian Adkins and Timmy Hembree.
