Mona Tackett

Mona Carol Archer Tackett, 57, of Cranston Road, Morehead, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at St. Claire Healthcare.

She was born on October 3, 1961 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of Norma Clark Archer of Morehead and the late George Archer, Jr.

Mona was a Registered Nurse currently working at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home in Carlisle and she was of the Christian faith.

She enjoyed woodworking, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and reading.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Lee Tackett and one brother, Larry Bruce Archer.

Survivors include one son, Ben Tackett of Plummers Landing, her mother, Norma Clark Archer of Morehead, one brother, Danny Ray Archer (Debbie) of Morehead, three sisters, Mary Lou Adkins, Kathy McCleese (Donnie) and Beverly Charles (Jeff) all of Morehead and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 3, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Randy Wagoner officiating.

Burial will follow in the Adams-Plank Cemetery at Cranston.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Corie Stacy, Cole Layton, Rick Logan, Jonathon Shumate, Kyle Archer, Travis Archer, Brian Miles and Barry Archer.
