Mrs. Mildred Myers Burnett, 86, of Farmers, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 at her home.
She was born on July 10, 1925 in Farmers, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Mary Lena Myers.
Mrs. Burnett was a former employee of Cowden Manufacturing and the Dixie Grill. She was a member of the Farmers Christian Church and enjoyed crocheting.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Lloyd Burnett, who passed away on June 1, 2011, one son, Elton Lloyd Burnett, Jr. and one daughter, Marcia Sue Fouch.
Survivors include one son, John Christopher Burnett of Morehead, two daughters, Tish (Shelby) Lawson of Morehead and Melissa Marie (Brian) Doudna of Milton, West Virginia, ten grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 20, 2011 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Brother Bill Teegarden officiating.
Burial will be in the Carey Hill Cemetery at Farmers.
Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Saturday.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
