Michael Lumpkins

Michael Cooper Lumpkins, 15 months old, son of Michael Brian Lumpkins and Whitney Lashea Walker of Salt Lick, passed away Friday at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. He was born in Morehead, Kentucky on August 14, 2018.

Cooper was a special little boy and loved his Mommy dearly.

Survivors beside his parents include one brother, Coby Lumpkins a sister Morgan Lumpkins and a sister expected in March. Maternal grandparents, David and Chelia Walker of Morehead and paternal grandparents, Mike and Debbie Lumpkins of Morehead. Also, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends who will miss him.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Jeff Farmer and Brother Barkley Sloan officiating.

Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery at Salt Lick.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 5:00 p.m. Monday.

Family and friends will serve as pall bearers.
