Melanie Anne "Bean" Stinson

Melanie Anne "Bean" Stinson, 62, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday morning, April 19, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born on April 19, 1961 in Lexington, Kentucky, a daughter of Jessie Stinson, Jr. and Peggy Jessee Stinson.

Melanie had been a Mortgage Loan Specialist for Peoples Exchange Bank in Winchester, Kentucky and she was of the Church of God faith.

She was a 1979 graduate of Rowan County Senior High School and a graduate of Morehead State University, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.

Melanie enjoyed reading, studying the Bible and traveling.  She had visited 49 out of the 50 states of America.

Survivors include her parents, Jessie and Peggy Stinson of Morehead and two aunts, Betty Bowen of Louisville, Kentucky and Nancy Thornsberry (Don) of Owingsville, Kentucky.  Also, several cousins and other relatives and many friends.

Private services will be conducted.

Entombment will be in the Lexington Cemetery Mausoleum.
