Mrs. Medie Fultz Kidd, Age 81 of Bramblewood Lane, Morehead, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008 at her home after an illness of several months.

She was born, March 28, 1927 in Rowan County, Kentucky to Mrs. Nellie Barricks Fultz and the late Dewey Fultz.

Mrs. Kidd was retired from the cafeteria at Morehead State University and had also worked at the Morehead Dairy Queen. She was a member of the Upper Dry Creek Church of God and enjoyed visiting other denominations. An avid quilter she won first place in a quilt competition, enjoyed gardening, loved flowers and was a devoted mother, grandmother and daughter.

Mrs. Kidd was preceded in death by her father, Dewey Fultz, her husband, Emerson Kidd, one son, Ronnie Dale Kidd, Four Brothers; Sam Chandler Fultz, Jackie Fultz Plummer Fultz and Dewey "Bugs Fultz. One sister, Alice Lee Clark and a granddaughter, Miranda Lee Collins.

She leaves to mourn her passing her family which includes her mother, Mrs. Nellie Barricks Fultz of Morehead. One son, Earnest Leray Kidd of Morehead. Three daughters; Deborah Kay (Larry) Littleton of Morehead, Mary Patricia "Patty" (Wendell) Collins of Morehead and Anna Lee Nell Littleton of Morehead. Five Brothers; Vernon Ray Fultz of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, John Franklin Fultz, Paul Edward Fultz, Dewayne Fultz all of Morehead and Jimmy Fultz of Tacoma, Washington. Six Sisters; Nervil Brendt and Gladys Adkins of Indianapolis, Indiana, May Fultz, Sue Dienes, Geneva Brown and Vera Clark all of Morehead. Five Grandchildren; Derrick Littleton, Brian Littleton, Kimberly Collins, Jason Littleton and Racheal Collins. One Great-Granddaughter, Taitum Littleton and special niece whom she reared, Carolyn Jean Shields of Indianapolis. Also, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss her too.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 18, 2008 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert D. Lewis and Elder Cephas Littleton officiating. Burial will follow in the Sardis Cemetery. Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is after 6:00 PM Monday and anytime Tuesday.

Serving as Pall Bearers are Wendell Collins, Robbie Graves, Brian Littleton, Jason Littleton, Derrick Littleton and Cephas Littleton, Jr.

Honorary Pall Bearers are Matt Campagna, Michael Rooks, Larry Littleton and Frank Collins
