Maxine Earl

Maxine R. Earl, 90, of Clover Way, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
Born October 25, 1920, in Wayne County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Edith Withrow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Z. Taylor Earl, her two infant sons, her brother Gene Withrow, and her sister Oretha N. White.
She is survived by her daughter, Dr. E. Noel Earl of Morehead, and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her two beloved dogs, Sunny and Priss.
Maxine's generous and unselfish life was inspirational to many. Her final act of generosity was to donate her body to the Human Gift Registry of Marshall University.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary in Huntington, West Virginia. The family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 A.M.
