Martha Hogge

Mrs. Martha Frances Hogge, 91, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Hogge, daughter, Connie Hogge, parents, Chester and Ethel Littleton, sisters, Ruby Roberson and Audrey “Elaine” Reed, and brother, Cles Littleton.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Ron) Jauss, grandson, Tyler Jauss, sister, Virginia Blais, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Martha worked for Esther Price Candy for 10 years and then retired from General Motors after 16 years.

She loved nature, enjoyed flowers, gardening and feeding the birds.  Martha was a longtime member of the Miami Primitive Baptist Church.  She traveled extensively with Washington Heights Young at Heart Club.  The time she spent with her family was very important to her.  She was a loving and generous mother, grandmother and friend.

Funeral Services will be held at Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road, Dayton, Ohio on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow at Hogge Cemetery in Morehead, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends at the Tobias Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of services on Friday, September 7, 2018.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
