Marsala "Marcy" Smith

Marsala Ellen "Marcy" Smith, 51 of Clearfield, Kentucky passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 in the St. Joseph Hospital - Main in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born in Morehead, Kentucky on December 20, 1969 to Julie Mynhier Sexton and the late Carl Sexton.

Marcy was a homemaker and enjoyed going to yard sales and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a sister Angel Johnson.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, John Smith. Her mother, Julie Mynhier Sexton of Morehead. Three sons; Carson Carter of Morehead, Anthony Martin and Casey Richardson both of Clearfield. Four daughters: Kelly Otis of Clearfield, Kristen Richardson, Kandice Richardson and Ashley Hamm all of Morehead. Four brothers; Frank Sexton of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, Allen Sexton, Wesley Sexton both of Clearfield and Millard Short of Cynthiana, Kentucky. Also, seven grandchildren.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8 pm.

There will be no funeral service.
