Marjorie Sweeney

Mrs. Marjorie C. Sweeney, 79, of Bradenton, Florida formerly of Morehead, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Bradenton Hospice Health.

She was born on November 11, 1938 in Pensacola, Florida, a daughter of the late B. F. and Andean B. Coker Caro.

Mrs. Sweeney was a retired X-Ray technician.

She was a devoted grandmother, who loved to read, play bridge, work crossword puzzles, and loved helping others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harry Sweeney, her son, Michael Sweeney, one brother, Ronnie Caro and one sister, Melb Grimes.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Robert Sweeney, Kayla Deatherage and Kara Perkins, two brothers, Glen Caro of Pensacola, Florida and Kippy Caro (Bonnie) of St. Petersburg, Florida, one sister, Doris Gilbreth (Ken) of Pensacola, Florida and special caregiver, Carol Perez

At her request, services and burial will be private.
