Marjorie Binion

Mrs. Marjorie Gregory Binion, Age 76 of Old Flemingsburg Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday evening, August 1, 2009 in the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Mrs. Binion was born in Rowan County, Kentucky on January 6, 1933 to the late Levi and Lella Jones Gregory.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Lorene Johnson.

Mrs. Binion was retired from the Cave Run Clinic where she worked in the insurance office for many years. She was a member of the Morehead First Church of God, a graduate of Morehead High School and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her daughter Debbie Bates and her husband Bernard of Salvisa, Kentucky and her son Greg Binion and his wife Teresa of Midland, Kentucky. One sister, Faye Scothorn of Wheaton, Illinois. Three grandchildren, Ryan Hulett, Jessica Collins and Ashlei Binion. Six Great-Grandchildren, Makenzie Hulett, Austin Clark, Joseph Collins, Leah Collins, Adam Whitt and Olivia Collins.

Also, several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 6, 2009 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Hutchinson officiating.

Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is after 11:00 A.M. Thursday.
