Marie Miller

Mrs. Marie Smedley Miller, Age 67 of Knapp Avenue, Morehead passed away Friday at her home.

She was born in Morehead, Kentucky on August 26, 1944 to the late Andy and Ina DeHart Smedley.

Mrs. Miller was of the Church of God faith and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death be her husband Leonard Miller, three brothers, Richard Smedley, Ray Smedley and Paul Smedley. An infant sister Mildred Smedley, brother-in-law Philip Lewis and sister-in-law Jean Smedley.

Survivors include her son Rex (Julia) Miller of Morehead. Two brothers Larry (Vicki) Smedley of Hillsboro, Kentucky and Harold (Loretta) Smedley of Clearfield, Kentucky. One sister, Shirley Lewis of Morehead, Kentucky.

Two grandchildren Andrew Miller and Cecilia Miller and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Crix Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society/Rowan County Relay for Life, C/O Sharon Reynolds, 829 Reynolds Road, Morehead, Kentucky 40351.

Serving as Pall Bearers will be Mike Booth, Kenneth Albert Alderson, Dwayne Edward Allen, Shaun Smedley, Jason Smedley, Matthew Smedley.
