Marie Cundiff Blundell, 69, of 410 Williams Branch passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at her home.
She was born on February 5, 1940 in Haldeman, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Ruie Pigman Christian.
Mrs. Blundell was a retired private home caregiver. She was a member of the Grace Assembly of God and enjoyed gardening, flowers, bird watching and walking.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Owen Blundell, who passed away on December 21, 2004, one brother, Everett Clark, one sister, Vivian Ison and one great-granddaughter, Emma Manning.
Survivors include four sons, Timmy Blundell and his wife, Audrey of New Lebanon, Ohio, Allen Blundell and his wife, Kim of Trenton, Ohio, Troy Blundell and his wife, Patty of Paris and Shane Blundell and his wife, Shawna of Morehead, two daughters, Kim Kidd and her fiancAC., Tim Overbey and Mary Sloan and her husband, Dale all of Morehead, one brother, Jimmy Dyer of Dayton, Ohio, two sisters, Lillian Crisp of Elliottville and Betty Rinker of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 4, 2009 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Pastor Bill McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in the Blundell Family Cemetery. Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Waddell, Dale Sloan, Timmy Overbey, Ronnie Crisp, Timmy Blundell, James Dyer and Wes Sands.
